Speaker: Maggie Thomas
Maggie Thomas has been the Processing Archivist at Kennesaw State University in the Department of Museums, Archives, and Rare Books since 2019. She previously worked with genealogical, historical, and archival collections at the Georgia Room (in Cobb County’s Switzer Library) and at the Special Collections Department of the Georgia Southern University Library. She holds an MLIS (Master of Library & Information Science) from Valdosta State University and a BA in Art History from Georgia Southern University. Maggie currently serves as both President and Archivist/Historian of the Cobb County Genealogical Society. She is a member of the American Library Association, Georgia Library Association, and Society of Georgia Archivists.
