Marietta a Civil War Hospital City
First Presbyterian Church 189 Church Street, MariettaIn 1863 as the Civil War battles moved into the Cobb County area, many of Marietta's buildings and homes were used as hospitals. As the war progressed, the Marietta hospitals came under control of the Federal Hospital Corps. Please join us as we learn about the medical records, guidelines, and correspondence of the wounded soldiers.
