Cobb County, Georgia Cemeteries, Volume II
Includes all cemeteries in the western portion of Cobb County plus additional cemeteries in the eastern portion. Maps & descriptive information for the entire county and is fully indexed.
Anderson Research
Emma Katherine Anderson was an avid researcher and historian. She helped Sarah Blackwell Gober Temple with her research on her book, ‘First Hundred Years, a Short History of Cobb County Georgia’ and these are Emma Katherine Anderson’s research notes.
Family Tree Newsletter
Cobb County Genealogical Society has been publishing a newsletter since 1979. Newsletter information includes items of local and regional interest, research tips, events, lectures, other pertinent member information. This collection contains all newsletters from 21 January 2007, no. 304, through the present issue. Initially a monthly publication, the Family Tree Newsletter is published every two months.
Family Tree Quarterly
The society has been publishing a quarterly journal since 1991. The Family Tree Quarterly includes articles of general interest, abstracts of local records and newspapers, and family records. Members are encouraged to submit articles and queries for publication. This collection contains all Family Tree quarterlies from March 1991, volume 1, number 1, through the present issue.
Membership Directory
The Society publishes an annual directory of its members with surnames being researched. This collection contains all membership directories published since 2007.
Obituary Index
The index contains obituary/death information contained in selected issues of the Marietta Journal and Marietta Daily Journal between 1875 and 1931. Information was abstracted from the microfilm copy of the selected issues, which is available in the Georgia Room, Switzer Library, Marietta, GA.

The CCGS Board meeting minutes and reports are available for two year period for our members.

Cobb County, Georgia Cemeteries, Volume III: Includes burials of Union Patriots in the Marietta National Cemetery, previously unpublished photos, maps of the Atlanta Campaign, copies of original letters. Alphabetized burial listing includes original interment, section and grave number as well as rank, company, and unit.
